The Irish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology Meeting – 10 to 11th Sept, Dublin.
A Scientific meeting of the Irish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (ISCN) scientific meeting was hosted by Dr Sean Connolly on 10th and 11th September 2026 at Hilton Dublin Kilmainham.
The meeting was a massive success with an extremely high standard of clinical and scientific research presented in platform and poster formats over the two days.
The highlight of the meeting was two fantastic lectures from guest speakers from Professor Satu Jääskeläinen, Director of Medical Imaging and Professor of Clinical Neurophysiology and Professor Tero J. Taminen, Chief Psychiatrist, University of Turku, Finland.

The 2024 ISCN annual scientific meeting was a great success with a super guest lecure from Professor Mark Baker from Newcastle.
Professors Lara McManus and Roisin McMackin from TCD gave demonstrations of TMS and high density EMG.
The meeting ended on a high note when Dr Brian O Moore gave a fascinating interview to Dr Sean Connolly about his time working with Professor Fritz Buchthal.

ISCN Annual Meeting 2023
Dr Brain McNamara presided over a terrific meeting in the Maryborough Hotel in Cork on March 2 and 3.
There were superb guest lectures from Dr Aisling Ryan, Mr Pat Fleming and Dr Geraldine Boylan.
Dr Anna Whelehan and Dr Sean Connolly conducted very informative workshops on ultrasound and nerve conduction studies.
Presentations from physiologists and NCHDs were of an extremely high standard.
Dr Julian Ray from Cambridge attended and gave his opinion as a member of the EEG expert panel.
